THE METHOD OF DEVELOPING ADAPTIVE LEARNING TESTS FOR HIGHER AND APPLIED MATHEMATICS

Abstract


In this work, the technique of development and application is studied in teaching the higher and applied mathematics of an adaptive learning test. Details are analyzed of the requirements that such a test should sa-tisfy, in particular, the observance of the content balance, systematic repetition of the basic knowledge of the school course, the study of the timekeeping of the work of students, and the conduct of distraction analysis. The paper investigates the methodology of combining traditional teaching during classroom sessions, adaptive training testing and microlearning technology. It is proposed to use small-scale adaptive training tests that are consistent with the work program of the course and correspond to the content of a particular classroom activity or a topic taken for independent study. The purpose of testing is primarily the training. The tes-ting is aimed at increasing the effectiveness of the student's independent work and the realization of personality-oriented learning. The adaptive teaching test is allow in automatic mode to identify gaps in the knowledge of a particular student and individually select appropriate methodological materials for independent study. According to the results of the adaptive testing, an individual profile of the student is formed, which shows exactly which topics and at what level were worked out. Each adaptive test contains a repetition block, the content of which is clearly focused on the topic of the course, which is being studied at the moment. It is proposed to use methodological materials developed with the use of microlearning techno-logy. In such training content, the material is fed in short, but full-fledged concentrated portions. The method proposed in the work systematically implements the individual approach, facilitates repetition, reduces the problem of insufficient concentration of attention and raises the effectiveness of studying the course as a whole.
